Operating in Wandsworth, London, we want all children aged 0 to 11 years to have frequent, positive reading experiences. We train teams of volunteers to give one-to-one support in primary schools. We run early literacy classes for parents and toddlers. We encourage and equip parents to support their children's reading at home.

This financial year, 14 Volunteers and 2 Young Volunteers helped to deliver activities/events for children and young people.
We offer a comprehensive schedule of structured events and activities, including residential breaks, cinema outings, arts and craft sessions, family day trips, music therapy sessions, wall climbing, biking, cooking, swimming, trampolining etc. This helps to develop confidence, coordination, interaction, life and learning skills for Children/Young People on the Autistic Spectrum.
We've worked with a number of young people from Slough, most of these young people were mainly hanging around parks engaging in negative behaviour and criminal activity. In our projects we have worked in partnership with various agencies such as Thames Valley Police, Community safety, Slough Borough Council and The Youth Offending Team to ensure we target the hard to reach young people.
The agency provides a range of support services to children, young people and young adults who live, work or study in the boroughs of Croydon, Sutton and Merton.
The shelter is running for over 7 years now,there are over 50 children living there.There are provided with food, shelter, education, clothing and medical care.
The principal activity of the Rock will be the provision of a youth facility at the (former) Church of St Peter, Cheltenham and its adjacent hall. We are all volunteers seeking to encourage and support the development of the young people, spiritually, physically, socially and intellectually, through a varied program of indoor and outdoor activities within the ethos of the Scout Association.
