Faith & Religion Charities

Teaching courses to married couples and those preparing for marriage about how to live their married lives in accordance with the principles, standards and docrines of the christian faith.

To advance the kingdom of God through the inspiring and releasing of all Christian students (and others connected with universities), and to engage with the prevention and relief of poverty, the advancement of health, the relief of those in need through any disadvantage, the promotion of human rights, harmony and equality, and the advancement of religion, through advocacy, action and prayer.

Activities of religious organisations

To advance the Christian Orthodox Religion in Lincolnshire, for the benefit of the public (regardless of ethnic origin) through:-the holding of religious services -public celebrations of religious festivals-distributing literature on Christian Orthodox Religion.To provide a place of worship for all who wish to attend the Christian Orthodox services and celebrations.

The general objects are religious and charitable, and specifically for the general charitable purposes in connection with the Roman Catholic religion and to provide its members to enable them to work among the poor in medical, educational or social capacity.

Provide services and communal facilities for members of the Community.Provide burial facilities for members of the Community.

The principal activity of the Rock will be the provision of a youth facility at the (former) Church of St Peter, Cheltenham and its adjacent hall. From April 2010 this facility has been available to all young people regardless of background providing both formal and informal activities and opportunities to develop skills, education, welfare and spiritual wellbeing.

The advancement of Christ's Kingdom among boys and girls and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian character.

The charity provides activities on a weekly basis to children (both boys and girls) from the ages of 6 up to 14 following guidelines set down by the Scout Association. In 2008 the Scout Hut was replaced by a purpose built building with state of the art equipment with help from other charities and beneficiaries.

PROVIDE SCOUTING FOR AGES BETWEEN 6 AND 14 YEAR OLDS FOR MALE AND FEMALE, AND ALL RELIGIOUS BACKGROUNDS.

Our Scout Group offers young people aged 6 - 14 an opportunity to gain Skills for Life via a structured programme of challenging and exciting fun-packed activities in the Bilborough area of Nottingham (where we are based) and beyond, doing our best to ensure their safety at all times. We believe in 'Scouting for All' irrespective of ethnicity, faith or special needs. All are welcome!

To support the care and preservation of the building and grounds of the Parish Church of St Nicolas, Cranleigh in the Diocese of Guildford.To engage with and educate the wider parish community on the activities of the Church.To advance such charitable purposes within the ecclesiastical parish as the Trustees see fit where such purposes are incidental or conducive to the other objectives

Scouting Association for Boys and Girls of all races and Religion . Helping their wellbeing to grow into responsible adults. Offering practical training in Scouting activities and personal wellbeing.

To give grants to Christian workers and organisations to advance the Christian Faith through gospel ministry in accordance with the Trust's Statement of Beliefs.The current priority is to support Christian work within a specific socially deprived area in the City of Sheffield.

this group aims are to encourage children to socialise, and learn new skills whilst respecting others.

The group is a local Sheffield based Scout Group, with Beaver, Cubs and Scout sections.

Scouting activities for 6 to 14 year olds. Physical, spiritual and social development.

The Scout Association aims are to develop young children physically, mentally and spiritually through an ongoing structured training programme.

Improving religious education through books published by the trust and newspapers. Helping organisations overseas for this purpose.
