We offer financial and practical support through grant giving, and also we help families with the opportunity to make some family memories.

We teach Life Saving Skills/Swimming Lessons from the age of 5yrs to 80 years of age. Cadio Pulmonery Resuscitation, First Aid and Beach Safety.
Raising funds by means of Donations, Social Events and Running Tea Bar for patients&staff and then donating the money raised to Abergele Hospital for the purchase of equipment
The relief of sickness and suffering amongst people living in the North Ceredigion area who are living with advanced incurable and progressive illness and also their carers, by providing them with practical, social and emotional support, by providing community-based supportive end of life care and by raising awareness regarding all aspects of end of life care in the North Ceredigion area.
The Club meets every month throughout the year for lunch at various venues and visits to different locations. A holiday is arranged at least once a year and there are occasional afternoon teas, visits to the theatre etc. The committee meets once a month and there are various fundraising actiivities. We also support members at times of stress.

Campaigning for & the funding where appropriate of: 1.Fully trained, inspired, compassionate Bereavement Midwives2.By making the best use of hospital architecture & layout,funding sensitively designed delivery rooms located away from maternity wards.3.Necessary equipment in each maternity unit to preserve a stillborn baby until at least the day after the mother's discharge from hospital.
Providing transport for, usually,elderly and frail clients to appointments at Hospitals and Medical and Dental surgeries/centres, from Abingdon and the surrounding area.
Provide tailored support for people affected by abortion stigma via a free helpline. Provide and signpost online resources which challenge abortion stigma in society and offer information and support. Deliver provider support workshops for professionals involved in abortion care. Deliver values clarification training to healthcare professionals and others to explore values around abortion
Offering support to people, their carers, or family members who have been diagnosed with cancer. Provide a safe place for those to chat and talk through their experience. Provide access to complementary and holistic therapies, should they feel that this will aid in their wellbeing during this time.
Above Water is passionate about water safety and believes the best way to guard against drowning is to educate. AW sends qualified teachers who are also open water lifeguards into schools and or communities to teacher our own WATER SAFETY programme. This programme comprehensively promotes using our water environments for health/well-being and delivers water safety and drowning prevention.
The Abstinence Based Recovery Trust (ABR Trust) is set up to help provide funding for people suffering from addictive disorders such as alcohol or drug dependence. It is designed to help bridge the gap between people who can afford rehabilitation and those who, due to cuts in local services, are always going to struggle to fund a rehab place. We will assess and help clients get the help they need.

ANBU UK supports survivors of childhood sexual abuse in the Tamil community by providing healing and empowerment through holistic support, resources and advocacy. ANBU UK currently focuses support activity in the London area, delivering holistic group therapy services.

We provide a range of Accessible Boating opportunities for people of varying abilities to engage together in water related activities on open water, which we believe has a therapeutic effect. Our services are delivered in the Thames Valley and our model is in development for replication on a national basis.
Activities include tackling health inequalities and all forms of abuse, providing information and training to communities and professionals to raise awareness. Working with other organisations to develop services, deliver practical health and well-being programmes to tackle health inequalities amongst minority communities in Bedfordshire.

To support their emotional, practical & medical needs by the provision of treatment, necessities and facilities, enabling access to resources through referrals, and practical guidance. To prevent sickness by raising health awareness across the community.
Aching Arms provides comfort teddy bears to parents whose baby has died during pregnancy, birth or infancy. They gift bears to parents via maternity health professionals and befriending groups in the UK. The bears are used to discuss support available to parents. The charity also leads awareness training for health professionals and hosts a telephone befriending service for bereaved parents.
