Apple announces the new Beats Studio Buds+: Its new pair of headphones with a transparent design
Apple announced yesterday, without much fanfare, the new Beats Studio Buds+, a new pair of truly wireless headphones, in which the most outstanding note seems to be its transparent design, but not only from a technical point of view, a wireless in-ear headphones like many others, that is to say, not exactly revolutionary. At the heart of the wearable is the custom Beats platform, which promises to improve the listening experience — both multimedia content and calls — thanks to redesigned acoustic ventilation: the headphones are equipped with two-layer transducers that flex “to deliver deeper bass. clean and ultra-low distortion”.
The inevitable active noise cancellation with transparency mode is there: just press a button to switch from one to the other. The manufacturer also promises improved compatibility with Android devices, but it is with Apple equipment that these Beats Studio Buds+ do their best.
They support one-touch pairing via Google Fast Pair and using iCloud account and automatic updates via OTA. In addition, to use on Android, the correct use of these headphones goes through the official app.
According to Apple, the new Beats headphones have bigger and better microphones, thanks to which they offer excellent voice detection capabilities and are very suitable for use in voice calls. And among the other audio features, we note the support for Spatial Audio for Dolby Atmos, while for more sporty users we note the presence of the IPX4 certification, which gives it some resistance against water and sweat.
When it comes to true wireless headphones, autonomy is a factor that users take very seriously, and the Beats Studio Buds+ make very encouraging promises: up to 9 hours of listening on a single charge and up to a maximum of 36 hours thanks to to the charging case (which guarantees three additional charges). In addition, it is good to highlight the presence of Fast Fuel fast charging: 5 minutes of charging through the USB-C port of its case is enough for an hour of autonomy.
