Apple: Autonomy remains a big headache for iOS 16

Despite having arrived with some really interesting new features, iOS 16 significantly worsened the autonomy of iPhones. And that’s a complaint that has historically been repeated every time Apple releases a new version of its operating system, but this time the issue seems to be worse.

Questions about the reduced autonomy on the iPhone, caused by iOS 16, are present almost everywhere on the main social networks, such as Twitter and Reddit.

Apple hasn’t released any official comment on this matter, but it’s true that the official Twitter support account is careful to ask all those who complain about it if they’ve already updated to iOS 16.0.2. It is true that this is the most recent version of the operating system, but this insistent insistence suggests some sort of correlation. It is true that in the release notes there is no mention of battery or autonomy.

For those who don’t know, iOS 16.0.2 was released just a few days ago and, as we’ve already reported, it also fixed some camera-related issues of the new iPhone models – the 14, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max (there would also be the 14 Plus ), where the main 48MP sensor vibrates excessively when accessing the feature through third-party apps like TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and so on.

Apple is also already working on iOS 16.1, of which the first Beta versions are already in circulation.
