The company behind the iPhone has sent invitations to members of the media for in-person gatherings in New York, Shanghai, and London, describing the occasion as a hands-on “experience.” The wording suggests a more intimate presentation rather than the large-scale events typically staged at its Cupertino, California headquarters.
The invite does not clarify whether a keynote presentation will be livestreamed. Since 2020, the tech giant has regularly streamed its product announcements online after reshaping its event strategy during the Covid pandemic.
According to previous reports from Bloomberg News, Apple is preparing a wave of hardware updates for the first half of 2026. These are expected to include refreshed MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models, a more affordable MacBook offered in multiple color options, and updated iPad versions. The company is also reportedly gearing up to introduce the iPhone 17e, a new iteration of its mid-range smartphone lineup.
Bloomberg had earlier indicated that Apple was targeting the first week of March for its next major announcement, aligning with the newly confirmed March 4 event date.
