Scientists say that child obesity may soon turn into an epidemic. According to a research published in the Journal of Pediatric Obesity, the amount of fat was found to be high in the children involved in the research. Also, there was a constriction in the veins of his heart, due to which the blood flow is irregular. Cases of type 2 diabetes in children are already increasing.

 

Causes of obesity in children

 

Obesity among children has increased by 2% in the last one year. The reason for this is the corona pandemic. During the lockdown, the children stayed away from physical activity. In addition, most of his time was spent in front of the phone or computer. However, the problem of obesity in children already remains. This is attributed to increasing technology, changes in sleep and high-cholesterol junk food.

Scientists say that there is no instant cure for this problem. Growing obesity among children is a public health crisis, which needs to be brought into the discussion at the world level.

It is important to give a nutritious and balanced diet to children. Tell them the disadvantages of junk food and soft drinks. Make physical activity a part of their lifestyle. Teach them to build positive and good relationships. Stop using technology for unnecessary things. Encourage children to wake up and go to sleep on time.
