Wordtune

Wordtune is an AI-driven writing assistant that generates or refines text based on your input. It is available on the web, as a Microsoft Word Add-in, and via a dedicated iOS app—which is often the most convenient option.

Getting Started with Wordtune on iPhone

  1. Install the Wordtune app from the App Store.

Enabling Wordtune as a Keyboard

  1. Navigate to Settings > Apps > Wordtune.

Microsoft SwiftKey

Available on iOS, iPadOS, and Android, Microsoft SwiftKey is a free AI-powered keyboard that enhances writing efficiency. While its earlier versions included built-in AI chat and search features, Microsoft now directs users to Copilot for text generation.

Setting Up SwiftKey

  1. Download & install SwiftKey from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
  2. Open the app and tap Get Started.
  3. Sign in with a Microsoft account (optional, but required for full access).

Enabling SwiftKey

On Android:

  1. Open SwiftKey and tap Enable SwiftKey.
  2. In On-Screen Keyboard settings, turn on Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard.
  3. Tap Select SwiftKey and set it as the default input method.

On iPhone/iPad:

  1. Open an app like Mail.
  2. Press the globe icon and switch to SwiftKey.

Using SwiftKey with Copilot

  • Generate new text: Tap the Copilot icon on the toolbar, select Compose, and open the Copilot app to craft an email or message.
  • Rewrite existing text: Tap Tone in the SwiftKey toolbar, enter your text, and browse tone options such as Professional, Casual, Polite, Funny, Social Post, or Witty. Tap Accept to insert the rewritten text.
