Kodi 20 Nexus takes another step towards the stable version

Kodi 20 Nexus takes another step towards the stable version

In preparation for many months, Kodi 20 codenamed Nexus is getting closer and closer to arriving in stable version form. After the first Release Candidate was made available, behold, Release Candidate 2 was finally made available.

For those who don’t know, a Release Candidate (RC) version is a preliminary version of software that is considered ready for release. A version that has passed all internal testing and has been approved for release, but may still include minor bugs or issues found during testing.

In this case, it has already been released so that all interested parties can test it and check if it has any bugs and thus correct any problems and improve the quality. A Release Candidate version means that the final version is almost ready.

Some fixes were made to resolve database migration issues from v19.
The first one is the EPG database migration. This fixes the issue with the EPG loading and disappearing. A second database migration issue that only occurred on the Microsoft UWP platform (Xbox and UWP desktop) has been fixed. Another teletext issue has been resolved with several fixes for v20 to help increase Kodi’s reliability and security.

While this is just a small number of fixes, they all help make the final Kodi 20 Nexus release better.
