In celebration of OpenAI AI’s first year, Microsoft has unveiled significant enhancements to its AI-driven chatbot, Copilot AI.
The primary upgrade involves the integration of GPT-4 Turbo into Copilot, providing users with the capability to tackle more complex tasks. Unlike its predecessor, GPT-4 Turbo can process input of up to 300 pages of text, leading to more nuanced and substantial responses. Currently undergoing testing with a select group of users, this enhanced version of Copilot is expected to roll out more widely in the coming weeks.
Copilot now also incorporates DALL-E 3, the latest iteration of the image generator. Noteworthy improvements are evident, as the AI generates higher-quality images that better align with user prompts. Importantly, this advanced imaging technology is accessible to all Microsoft AI users.
Additional enhancements include the Inline Compose tool, featuring a rewrite menu enabling users to select and prompt the bot to rewrite specific blocks of text. This feature will soon be available to all Edge users.
For programmers, the Code Interpreter introduces a new set of features, facilitating tasks such as data analysis, visualization, math, and coding. Currently in beta, the Code Interpreter is anticipated to have a wider release in the near future.
Moreover, the Bing search engine undergoes optimization with the incorporation of GPT-4, resulting in significantly improved search results, particularly on complex subjects. These updates collectively reinforce Microsoft’s commitment to advancing AI capabilities and providing users with more powerful and efficient tools.
