S Pen on Galaxy S23 Ultra turns off for no reason
Reports of S Pen malfunctions on the Galaxy S23 Ultra keep growing on the Web, which seems to turn off from time to time completely randomly when in use and / or when it is removed from its slot.
According to what has already been determined, to reconnect the S Pen to the smartphone it is necessary to insert the accessory in the dedicated slot and this obviously represents a real limit to the tip’s potential in the field of productivity. Users who encountered this problem also found some possible temporary resolutions to resolve it, perhaps awaiting a definitive intervention from the Samsung team.
The first solution involves accessing the S Pen options via the Advanced Features menu in Settings, then selecting the three-dot button to reset the accessory. The second possible solution is based on activating the option “Keep S Pen always on”, which seems to be disabled by default by the system to save battery life when the accessory is inactive for a long time. To activate this function, just go to the Settings menu, enter the Advanced features section, select S Pen and then more S Pen settings.
At the moment it is not clear how widespread this problem is, but the hope of those who encountered it is that Samsung’s team of developers will be able to find a definitive solution in a short time and implement it with one of the next software updates.
