Samsung officially announces the new Galaxy Book2 Go 5G
Samsung announced the new Galaxy Book2 Go in 5G version. Although the ARM-based notebook (without 5G) has already been confirmed for some markets, we were still waiting for an official announcement of the 5G version.
First note, Galaxy Book2 Go 5G remains with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 as SoC. It weighs 1.44kg and is 15.5mm thick. Thanks to 5G support, you can also use this laptop on the go with a fast internet connection, regardless of Wi-Fi availability. According to Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go 5G should appear in some markets at the end of January 2023. There will be versions with 4 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage.
And among the other technical specifications, we have its 14-inch IPS screen and FullHD resolution. As for its operating system, it leaves the factory with Windows 11 Home. Also, among other things, it offers Wi-Fi 6E in addition to 5G and dual SIM. Samsung says its battery has 42.3Wh. Of course, you’ll also find two USB-C and one USB-A (2.0) ports. It should also be mentioned that the laptop should be particularly robust, as it has military MIL-STD-810H certification.
