Samsung Unveils Galaxy Book6 Series With AI-Powered Performance at CES 2026

Samsung Electronics unveiled its next-generation Galaxy Book6 lineup at CES 2026, introducing the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and Galaxy Book6. Representing the company’s most powerful notebook family to date, the new series is designed to elevate AI-driven productivity through advanced engineering, premium performance, and a slim, refined form factor.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy Book6 series reflects its philosophy that meaningful innovation begins with strong fundamentals. By combining high-speed performance, intelligent AI features, and dependable design, Samsung aims to deliver a computing experience that supports both productivity and creativity.

Built for Next-Level Performance

The Galaxy Book6 family integrates cutting-edge components with immersive visuals and audio in a highly portable design. Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, the first client chips built on Intel’s 18A process, the laptops deliver enhanced CPU, GPU, and NPU performance for faster multitasking and responsive AI workloads.

These processors offer significant performance gains over the previous generation, including up to 16 performance and efficiency cores and an integrated NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS, enabling AI features such as image enhancement, translation, and smart search to run directly on-device. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra further boosts creative and entertainment capabilities with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 and 5060 Laptop GPUs, supporting AI-assisted image creation, smooth video editing, and immersive gaming.

To sustain peak performance, Samsung introduced a redesigned thermal system across the lineup. Both the Ultra and Pro models feature optimized vapor chambers, expanded cooling fins, and improved airflow for quieter, more efficient heat dissipation. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra also adds a dual-path exhaust fan and enhanced heatsink design to maintain performance under heavy workloads.

Long Battery Life and Rapid Charging

Samsung focused heavily on power efficiency, equipping the Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro models with the longest-lasting batteries in the Galaxy Book series. Users can expect up to 30 hours of video playback, along with fast charging that restores more than half the battery in just 30 minutes.

Enhanced Display and Audio Experience

The Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro introduce upgraded Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch displays with up to 1,000 nits of HDR brightness, adaptive refresh rates from 30Hz to 120Hz, and advanced glare reduction. Vision Booster technology automatically adjusts brightness and color accuracy in outdoor environments, while Corning Gorilla Glass DXC improves durability and reduces reflections.

Audio performance is equally refined. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra features a six-speaker Dolby Atmos system with force-canceling woofers and tweeters for rich, distortion-free sound, while the Pro models balance clarity and bass through optimized speaker placement.

Slim Design Meets Intelligent AI

Despite the performance upgrades, the Galaxy Book6 series is thinner and lighter than its predecessors, thanks to re-engineered internal layouts, slimmer cooling components, and redesigned hinges. The minimalist design emphasizes symmetry, premium materials, and ergonomic comfort.

Paired with Galaxy AI, the series delivers intuitive productivity tools such as smart content selection, AI-powered image editing, natural-language search, note summarization, and seamless file sharing across Galaxy devices. Features like Multi Control, Second Screen, and Link to Windows enable smooth workflows across phones, tablets, and PCs.

Security and Availability

Security is reinforced through Samsung Knox and Windows 11 secured-core protections, alongside Samsung Care+ support options.

The Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Pro, and standard models will launch in select markets starting late January 2026, with an Enterprise Edition arriving in April 2026.
