Windows operating system users are aware of the inconvenience associated with updating the list of available Wi-Fi networks. However, Microsoft appears to have found a solution to address this issue. The company is introducing a button in Windows 11 that streamlines the process by allowing users to update the list of available Wi-Fi networks with a single click.
As noted on the social network X, the most recent version of Windows 11 Canary includes a network update button positioned at the bottom of the list of available Wi-Fi networks. Interestingly, the introduction of this button was not documented in the Windows 11 Canary patch notes, and there’s a specific reason for that.
According to Brandon LeBlanc, a senior program manager at Windows Insider, although the button has been implemented and is functional, it hasn’t yet operated as intended. Consequently, the development team requires additional time to ensure that it functions seamlessly before formally announcing it in the release notes.
Since this update is currently part of the Canary version, it may take some time before the one-click Wi-Fi network update button is integrated into the stable version of Windows 11. However, LeBlanc assures that more information regarding this feature will be provided shortly.
