To avoid the interruption during the setup process a user is recommended to connect their range extender through an Ethernet cable using the wired connection. You need to use the default Wireless credentials when the first time you connect your range extender to the computer. After a successful connection process, you can visit the web interface of the Tp-link range extender using the tplinkrepeater.net link on the web address of your browser.
Users who want to change the Wireless settings of a Dlink router can do it through the Wireless tab of the dlinkrouter.local window. It depends upon a user whether he wants to change the default Network name and Wi-fi password of a router or not. When a user connects to the router for the first time, he has to use the default credentials on the Wi-fi list to connect to the Dlink router. You can fetch the default credentials either from the configuration card that comes along with your router or from its product label.
