Smart Connect feature in your Dlink router allows you to enjoy the seamless Wi-fi connection through your 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-fi bands. It automatically assigns the faster Wi-fi band to the connected device to provide a fast speed in your network. Smart Connect feature also plays a huge role in assigning the connected devices to an appropriate band that results in reducing interruptions and delays in your network. It is enabled by default and can be configured through the web interface of the dlinkrouter.local window.
