TDT Training Australia was started by Dave Roberts in 1996, who – after spending many years in transport and millions of kilometres on the road – decided to use his experience to start a training organisation. When the business first started, it focused primarily on truck licensing but it was soon evident to Dave that there was a strong demand for additional services and delivery in rural locations.Dr Brett Roberts joined TDT Training Australia in 2008 and took over as CEO in 2014. Previously to joining TDT he had forged his own successful career in science, working as a synthetic chemistry researcher/lecturer at Monash University before taking up a post with the American Chemical Society, educating his peers and travelling around the world.On becoming CEO, Brett realised he needed to develop his own skills in running a business and completed diplomas in Marketing, Business and Management, followed by a Masters in Management.
