Our Dementia Awareness Training course is developed and delivered by the Leicestershire Training Team, an accredited and Skills for Care-endorsed healthcare education provider. The course has been designed to provide basic knowledge about dementia in order to develop better ways of supporting people with this condition. We cover areas such as understanding dementia, practical strategies for providing care and support, creating a positive environment for those affected by dementia, techniques for communication, and end-of-life issues. Our experienced trainers are available to answer any questions you may have during or after the training session.
