Bing AI Embraces Google Chrome Compatibility

After six months since its initial launch, Bing AI has now officially expanded its reach to include Google Chrome. Originally confined to Microsoft’s Edge browser upon its February release, Bing AI’s compatibility has been a subject of interest and discussion due to its prolonged confinement despite iterative updates.
Towards the end of July, observant users of Google Chrome noticed the integration of Bing AI online, although Microsoft initially adopted a cautious stance on this matter. Finally, the Redmond-based company has now taken the momentous step of declaring the generative artificial intelligence-powered tool compatible with Google Chrome. The official statement reads:
"Bing Chat and Bing Chat Enterprise are now supported on the desktop Chrome browser (with the latest stable version update) for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Support for other desktop and mobile browsers is under development."
Dawning Compatibility of Bing AI with Google Chrome
At present, this tool functions seamlessly with both Chrome and Edge, marking a significant stride forward. Given Google Chrome’s global status as the most widely used browser, this extension effectively opens the door to a considerably larger user base for Microsoft’s AI-driven search engine.
In a noteworthy bonus, Microsoft has also extended the newfound Bing compatibility to its virtual keyboard, SwiftKey.
