Rockstar Games Delays Grand Theft Auto VI Again, Now Set for November 2026 Release

Rockstar Games has once again postponed the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, moving its launch date from May 2026 to November 19, 2026
Originally, Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, had slated GTA VI for a fall 2025 release. That was later pushed to May 2026, and now to November 2026—marking yet another delay in one of the most highly anticipated games of the decade.
The news has left many fans frustrated, with social media users joking that they might be much older by the time the game finally launches. Competing studios are also reportedly reassessing their release schedules for the 2026 holiday season in light of the shift.
This update follows reports that Rockstar recently let go of around 40 employees in its UK and Canadian offices, allegedly to curb unionization efforts.
For now, Rockstar assures that more updates about Grand Theft Auto VI will be shared soon. Since the release of its first and only trailer, fans have been eagerly awaiting more glimpses of the long-awaited return to Vice City.
