The voice notes feature of WhatsApp is very useful. It also makes chatting fun. In such a situation, to make this feature more fun, the company is making some changes in it. According to reports, the feature has been rolled out to pause and resume audio while recording voice notes. At present, it has been rolled out only for some beta testers.
While recording voice, users can pause and resume the voice note. Till now, the facility to pause and play voice notes was not available in WhatsApp. The user had to record and send the entire voice note in one go.
Record audio notes by pausing
According to Wabetainfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp features, the app has introduced a new pause button. Through this, users will be able to stop the recording and resume it later. Earlier, users only got the option to pause and play while listening to a voice note after sending it. Now they will be able to pause the recording without having to do the whole recording and resume it after some time.
WhatsApp also introduced the option to play voice notes outside the chat. Earlier, users were able to listen to the voice note only while opening the chat. He used to pause automatically after coming out of the chat box. The global audio player appears at the top of the chat window and you also get the option to remove the audio player after listening to a voice note.
Feature available for beta testers
According to Wabetainfo, this feature has already been rolled out for some beta testers. It will also be available to beta testers after installing the new WhatsApp Business beta for Android 2.22.6.7 update. The report states that if you don’t see the new pause and resume feature while recording voice notes, it means that your WhatsApp account is not yet ready for it.
