Al Meera operates a network of 60 stores and has a turnover in excess of USD 825 Million. Oman National Investments Development Company SAOC (TANMIA) was founded in 1998, as a closed joint stock company established in order to manage investment funds as well as investments in other multiple sectors, such as industry, tourism, services, real estate development and others. The strong financial support and backing by Al Meera Holding Company Qatar and TANMIA, has enabled Al Meera Oman to embark upon a journey of ambitious expansion in Oman. Beginning in 2013, in response to demands for shopping convenience, the company began to focus on developing Community Malls, Hyper, Super and Convenience.
