Alternatives in Action High School is a public charter school in Oakland, California that serves students in grades 9–12. We empower East Bay youth to thrive through a deeply personalized, hands-on learning experience that values every voice. We are a small school community where students are seen, heard, and supported. Our innovative approach meets students where they are and helps them grow into confident, capable young adults who are ready to lead in college, career, and life.
