Our company was originally founded in 1953 as Filmshows Ltd at 1a Hawkins Street, around the corner from our current location on 9 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2. In 1968, the store name was changed to Bermingham Cameras by then proprietor Paddy Bermingham which is where our name comes from. He was with the company until his retirement is 1990.
