I graduated from Otis/parsons school of Art and design with a major in architectural design and my love for sweets were the perfect combination for ccm. my interest in 3 d custom cake designs began when I had my first son. I grew up in Venezuela and the birthday cake are consider the highlight of any event. inspired by those memories. I wanted to create the same memories for my son that I had growing up, those beautiful delicious cakes. with only three bakeries in Austin back in and 1996. None match my vision , so I said “ I can do this”, so I started experimenting combining my architectural background and my love for baking I was able to create my sons first birthday cake!!!! I begin creating custom 3-D cakes for family and friends as the demand grew. I decided to advertise in a children’s newsletter to supplement my income and eventually the high demand lead me to open a storefront in 2004 which I later close in 2010 due to personal reasons. So I decided to focus solidly on Cake.
