The fermented leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant are used to make black tea. Green and oolong teas are also brewed using these dried leaves and leaf buds. Black tea has 2% to 4% caffeine, which has an impact on mental clarity and alertness. Antioxidants and other ingredients that could assist safeguard the heart and blood vessels are also present. Compared to green tea, which is produced from the same plant's young leaves, it has different qualities. Black tea is used by people to increase mental clarity. There isn't enough solid scientific evidence to support many of these claims, which include treating headaches, controlling both low and high blood pressure, preventing Parkinson disease, depression, dementia, and stroke, among many other ailments.
