In September 2022, Global BSG will organize its second annual Tech-Enabled Energy Transition Conference. In the last ten years, there have been many changes in the world's energy environment, and there will be more in the decades to come. Energy emissions from non-renewable resources are enormous, with the main source of CO2 emissions (36%) coming from the production of electricity. As a result, decision-makers everywhere are developing strategies to switch to renewable energy sources. In the event that a total decrease in emissions is not feasible, the Energy Transition Conference will examine energy transition to achieve the global climate goal of reaching zero carbon emissions or minimum emissions. Utilizing renewable energy sources instead of fossil fuels increases energy efficiency, reduces carbon emissions, and has other advantages.
