He was also the founder chairman of Aviators Co-operative, the pioneer operator to start non-scheduled MRO (Maintenance Repair Organization) operations in the year 1968. The time when working on aircraft and helicopters was a mere dream for the student, IIA Group was amongst the first in India to set up an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) College. Thus IIA Group has been producing world-class Aircraft Maintenance Engineers for last 41 years. IIA Group is a Top AME College in India offering Ame Course. When a good science laboratory in a college was considered an achievement, IIA Group brought in aircraft Heavy pressurized Aircraft Hawker HS 125, Learjet 24, Bonanza A 35, Helicopter SA 318C, Eurocopter EC 120B for practical training of students.
