In a matter of seconds, our world is turned upside down, we are thrusted into a world of medical terms and realities we understand little about, forced to prematurely face our mortality, all while continuing to meet our daily obligations. During this journey, our identity evolves and not everyone evolves with us, relationships get tested, dreams are shattered, we question our beliefs, are brought to our knees, face our biggest fears and experience our greatest vulnerability.
