C.A. BALAN

C.A. Balan has good proficiency in Sanskrit. He was sentenced to death for a crime not committed by him. He was in solitary confinement for around a year as a prisoner awaiting execution. As a result of statewide demonstrations/agitations against his death penalty, his death sentence was commuted to life sentence. After suffering for around 13 years of imprisonment, C.A.
