I’ve been a performer most my life. I took my first dance class and slipped on my first pair of pointe shoes at 3 years old. And it’s made me a true believer in the power of performance. I’m not just talking about that moment when you’re in the spotlight, but every step along the journey that leads to that moment. It starts with trying something new, following instructions, learning from your counterparts, having the resilience to push through when it gets hard and then getting a confidence boost when you get it down.
