Fiver Rivers

The term Punjab comprises two words: “punj” meaning five and “ab” meaning water, thus the land of five rivers. We have named this establishment Five Rivers, due to this being the owner’s birth place.Punjab is known for its fl ourishing agriculture. Historically it is the birth place of the ten gurus, great maharajas including Maharaja Ranjit Singh, and martyrs such as Bhagat Singh and Udham Singh. We have also paid tribute to the last prince of Punjab, Dalip Singh, who during his lifetime was a key link between Indo-British history. Five Rivers is pleased to bring you a new way of experiencing Indian food that is very tasty, clean and healthy, yet very authentic. Ideally suited to our contemporary palates, our cooking combines the exotic fl avours and respect for fi ne ingredients: fresh produce and herbs, delicate spices and home made dairy products that have attracted generations of food lovers in all cultures throughout history. The inspiration behind Five Rivers is to bring something.
