Tata Motors, a fully owned subsidiary of Tata & Sons of India, manufactures the Tata Prima line of heavy trucks. It was first presented as the business's "global" truck in 2008. At the Apollo Commercial Vehicles Awards in 2010 and 2012, the Tata Prima was named "Commercial Vehicle of the Year." The 2010 HCV (Cargo) Truck of the Year and the 2012 HCV (Rigid) Truck of the Year. The first truck line to feature a common rail engine, an automatic transmission, a first-rate cabin with HVAC, air suspension driver seats, and a data logger for performance monitoring. The trucks' 55 tonnes of combined carrying capacity makes them perfect for shipping large goods.
