Atrial Fibrillation Institute

The Queensland Cardiovascular Group (QCG) has led in the development of new and innovative services over the last 30 years. The Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) services have been established and led by Dr. Wayne Stafford and Dr. John Hayes, who have built a world-leading reputation. In 1992, they established the first private EP Service in Queensland in collaboration with the St. Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, and now the Atrial Fibrillation Institute.
