Hair transplantation was first performed by Norman Orentrich in 1959 using a 6-12 mm drill for hair transplantation. Although the transplant was successful, it gave the "doll hair" an unpleasantly unnatural appearance. Then, in the late 1970s, a major change occurred when the concept of mini and micrografts appeared, and grafts were preferentially removed by the strip method. FUE is a relatively new technique in this block. It appeared in the frame around 2007.
