Positano is a small town on the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy. Although it is possible to reach Positano by bus or ferry from other nearby towns, the most convenient way to travel to Positano is by car. There are several car services that operate between Naples and Positano, and most hotels can arrange for a car to pick you up from the airport or train station. The journey from Naples to Positano takes about an hour and a half, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Positano, there are plenty of parking options available. If you are planning to rent a car while in Italy, it is important to keep in mind that Italian drivers tend to be very aggressive. It is advisable to use a GPS navigation system when driving in Italy, as roads can be confusing and signage is often inadequate.
