For the Smiths, a home has always meant an open door and laughter bubbling from around the table. Having a family-owned business that would help customers create a welcoming home like hers had been Kerry’s dream for a long time. So in 2007, when her boys were still small, Rustic Red Door was launched, specializing in smaller handcrafted, Amish-made items. As the boys grew, the business grew and Kerry’s husband, Shaun, joined the team full-time in 2019, bringing his expertise to help with the expansion.
