DEDICATION TO FAMILY, HARD WORK, AND QUALITY From Kingston, Jamaica to Kingston, New York, Delaurna and Sonia Murphy are the founders and owners of Royal Blend Dispensary. Immigrating over 35 years ago, their entrepreneurial journey began in Jamaica with a family-run textile business, where they met and fell in love. In New York, they worked tirelessly, eventually launching the Royal Blend Group of Services, including perfume oils, foods, and vending. Delaurna’s past cannabis conviction qualified them for New York’s CAURD license, enabling the creation of Royal Blend Dispensary. Supported by advocacy groups and Housing Works, they overcame predatory investors and industry challenges, opening Royal Blend in August 2024 to provide quality.
