All emergencies in Surgical and medical gastro like acute severe pancreatitis, UGI bleed, acute liver failure, cirrhosis of liver are managed here with expertise. All kinds of endoscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are done in the department. All therapeutic ERCP procedures including metallic CBD stenting, drainage of complex hilar CBD strictures are done in the department. Esophageal, Colonic metallic stentings are done in the department.
