In a few short years, the English football club has transformed itself from being Manchester United’s noisy neighbors to the dominant Premier League team of the modern era. Since being bought by Abu Dhabi United Group in 2008, no team has won as many Premier League titles as their impressive six total. However, despite their domination on the domestic front, their success is yet to translate onto the continental stage. The 2021 Champions League final 1-0 defeat to Chelsea is the closest they’ve come yet.
