The Football Club de Grenoble is a rugby union club with a history of success in the French leagues and was involved in one of the most controversial decisions ever made in the sport. Founded over 130 years ago in 1892 in a merger between the main clubs in the area, Grenoble chose red and blue as its colors and has played at Stade des Alpes since the 2014-15 season.
