India Women’s National Cricket Team played their first friendlies in 1976, against West Indies. Indias womens cricket team has not played any matches since losing the final of the Twenty20 World Cup against Australia last March. Looking at India, it seemed that India was in a very troubling situation at the beginning of this year, with the team having played no cricket at all in a year after the T20 World Cup.
