Trauma is one of the most common reasons children are referred to counselling, and one of the areas where clinicians are the least versed in appropriate interventions. This workshop will define the various types of trauma, while providing an overview of trauma symptoms, including traumatic play. Clinicians will learn about the central role of evaluating the symptoms of trauma experienced by preschool, school-aged, and adolescents using a variety of play-based measures.
