The Unofficial Guide to Surviving College is an inclusive monologue about a freshman’s struggles. It addresses the prevalent problems freshmen and seniors face, such as poor time management, work-play balance, and overspending. Leslie Hayes, Dr. Eugene’s son who co-authored the book with him, also went through the same struggles that propelled him and his father to create an inclusive encyclopedia on self-management and a healthy lifestyle.
