Based in the UK, Virgin Atlantic is one of the most efficient service providers in the region. Two enthusiasts, Alan Hellary and Randolph Field, founded the airline and initially called it British Atlantic Airways. The name was later changed to Virgin Atlantic and now operates under the Virgin Atlantic Limited Company. It is one of the UK's largest airlines, carrying more than five million passengers annually. The airline flies to many domestic and international destinations, mostly in the Caribbean, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. This code is shared with Air China, Cyprus Airways, All Nippon Airways, Air New Zealand Jet Airways, Malaysia and Singapore Airlines. Travelers can book any destination with this airline or one of its partners to enjoy a hassle-free journey. Most operate from main hubs at London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
