Based on a detailed biomechanical / clinical exam, and gait analysis, using GaitScan techonlogy, I prescribe custom orthotics, fit to each of your feet, that can resolve many common overuse injuries such as; ball of foot pain, heel pain, arch pain, shin splints, knee pain, iliotibial band syndrome (ITBS), knee cap pain or patellofemoral tracking syndrome (PFTS), chronic hamstring strains, sacroiliac pain and sciatica, low back pain, scoliosis, even neck pain and headaches. There are 2 keys to providing quality custom foot orthotics; a) the prescription needs to be detailed, specific and individualized to each foot and its unique function; b) the materials that the custom orthotics are made of should provide support & optimize function.
