HRtoolkit is the Human Resource manager for small businesses. Established in 2006, Lisa Mackay (founder) and her team have worked with thousands of small businesses. The advice is not only legally compliant and in plain English, it is also strongly focused on ensuring a practical and sensible outcome for everyone. We are a small team, so the significant advantage is that you can speak to the same person each time you call, rather than having to re-explain to a call center. This also means that we know the history of what has happened, and this can often change the advice being given. For example, an employee who received a final warning 6 months ago for the same issue will be treated differently from a first offender.
