Drug discovery is the initial stage of drug research and development. Through early research, the genetic functions and targets of target diseases are selected and confirmed, the lead compounds are screened and optimized, and the druggability studies such as early safety screening and drug modification are carried out to obtain druggability candidate compounds. Medicilon’s drug discovery service is divided into two departments: Chemistry and Biology, with chemical and biological laboratories, equipped with SFC, Biacore 8K, microplate reader, LC-MS, HPLC and other instruments, including protein purification labs, cell culture labs, protein crystal labs and drug discovery and screening platforms.
