Hydro Mechanical Governors

Hydro- Mechanical Governors are designed with a self-contained oil pump and oil tank. The pump is driven by the turbine main shaft and the pump generates high oil pressure, hence increasing the torque to operate the different torque steam valves. The components are also small in size.Hydro- Mechanical Governors are highly reliable and can be understood and serviced by expert mechanical personnel. Periodic service extends the life of the governor beyond 50 years or until the turbine is disposed of or damaged.
