The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is an independent statutory agency. It helps to implement the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which will support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability and their families and carers. Supports and services delivered for NDIS participants help people with disability have the same things in life as other people, like somewhere to live, a job, hobbies and the company of families and friends.
